My Culture Is Happiness

When my sister's midwife colleague recently asked her ten year old daughter what "culture" means to her, the little girl answered: "My culture is happiness". Kids say it best! (By the way...watch BABIES...it's sugar)

Although I initially planned to return to Berlin tomorrow, the nomad in me changed my travel itinerary...thus, a 10 day round trip to Miami, St. Kitts and Nevis awaits my baby sister and I.

An added bonus: the ferry crossing between St. Kitts and Nevis is described by many as one of the most scenic ferry crossings in the eastern Caribbean...how could I refuse to go and confirm this statement first hand.

I can't wait to dive into the islands' culture...feel the Caribbean heart beat and sample the exuberantly vibrant way of life attributed to this island paradise.

My culture is happiness. I wholeheartedly pledge to stay true to my culture!
